Benro S6 Pro – A fluid head that makes videography a pleasure

When there's no room for compromise, the Benro S6 Pro earns its place atop the tripod. This fluid head is designed especially for mirrorless cameras and light video rigs, yet it easily supports up to 6 kg of gear, in practice nearly everything a hobbyist or semi-professional needs.

The fluid system makes panning and tilting silky smooth. The six-step counterbalance system means camera setups of different weights can be balanced precisely, instead of eyeballing it and hoping for the best. In practice, this shows directly in the build quality: movements start and stop without any jerkiness.

The 65 mm flat base makes the S6 Pro exceptionally versatile: it moves from a tripod to a slider, jib, or monopod in seconds thanks to the 3/8"-16 threads. A tilt range of +90°/–75° covers everything from tabletop shots to high angles, and full 360° panning ensures no movement is out of reach.

Two 1/4"-20 accessory mounts are a detail many wouldn't expect at this price point: a monitor arm or audio recorder attaches directly to the head without a separate rig system. An illuminated bubble level, meanwhile, is invaluable in the studio or outdoors at dusk.

Metal ratcheting adjustment knobs and a CNC-machined aluminum quick-release plate round out the package, everything feels solid in the hand, with no trace of cheap plastic anywhere.
